Our Bedrooms
Our bedrooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard, most of which have single beds. All of our lovely rooms have washing facilities, and some of our rooms also have en-suite bath and toilet facilities. All rooms are fitted with call systems for peace-of-mind, temperature control, television and phone points. Furthermore, some of our rooms situated on the ground floor have access to the garden and patio area. A lift is accessible for all other floors.

We have staff in attendance 24/7 around the clock. Sandhurst Rest Home meets all required service specifications of East Sussex Social Services, and as such, we are an ‘Approved Provider of Residential Care’.
When you come to visit your loved ones, you are more than welcome to come any time during the day, and may even get a cup of tea! With prearrangement, meals can be taken with residents on days out.
We maintain a varied menu with quality, simple cooking, using mostly fresh produce. Special diets can be catered for such as vegetarian or diabetic.

Our top priority is individual happiness, and we encourage our residents to participate in activities held at the home. We are able to organise a chiropodist, hairdresser and communion services, as well as transport and escorts for shopping and other trips at additional coasts.
Our residents are given the opportunity to retain their own GP if they desire. In addition, we also offer short stay accommodation for convalescence or respite. We are able to accept referrals for assisted funding from Social Services.
