We would like to praise all the staff on their excellent quality of care they gave to all those in their care. Without this, improvements in my Mother’s health would not have been as rapid as they were. I have not seen or visited a care environment that I would like to be in myself in later life, but this one stands out above the rest. Well done to all of you. We have and will continue to stand by your vision for your patients and keep recommending you to others.

I cannot rate Sandhurst Rest Home highly enough for the care that they gave my 98-year old mother during her stay. From the moment they assessed her on the first day through to the last day when, sadly, she had to move to a nursing home, she was given every kindness and care possible. The staff are bright and cheerful and this gives the place a real feeling of being home and residents are gently encouraged to join in the programme of daily activities and to socialise with other residents. Then home works closely with local district nurses and doctors to provide excellent health care and the manager is good at communicating with relatives. Food is home cooked by the lovely staff and is excellent, with individual dietary needs well catered for. The only downside is that Sandhurst is not a nursing home and so there is the chance that residents like my mum have to move on which is terribly sad – my Mum still dreams of going ‘home’ to Sandhurst
